How are your products packaged?
All our standard products are shipped in sturdy corrugated card packaging and labelled, however due to restrictions with packaging and shipping, some of our larger curtain tracks (exceeding 4.5m) and products that involve curves may be packaged differently. But rest assured that all our products will be appropriately packaged for the purpose of shipping.

What is the longest curtain track that you can provide?
The largest supported length that we are able to supply with our tracks is 12m, however due to size constraints within shipping we would be required to cut the track down into smaller sections, if you have a requirement for a track over 5m please contact us and we will see how we can help.

Am I able to bend the track or do you supply bends?
As standard we are able to supply tracks with 90 and 135 degree bends, you can select these when choosing your product. Also for slight or gradual bends if you have a track that is in sections (usually we will ship in 150mm segments) there is a bit tolerance in order to manipulate the tracks into a slightly curve. More information on these bends and their measurements can be found in our guides section. Please also note that when fitting a track with angles to the wall/ceiling it is advised to not fix in a way that the track is being mis-shaped as this will cause issues with the leaders running through the bends.

How do I measure for Tracks with Angles?
Please see the Angles Section on our Guide page, in here we explain exactly what you need to do in order to get the correct measurements.

What comes in the box?
Depending on what’s purchased each package come with an assembled track which has then been broken down into two or more segments (Tracks comprise of Gearboxes at each end, the highest quality 2.4mm aluminium track, a reinforced rubber belt, metal end hooks, runners, wrap around curtain hooks and ceiling and/or wall brackets), in addition there may be a wall switch(es), remote(s), angle(s) and of course the curtain motor itself.

Is it complicated to wire in the Electric Motors?
Only experienced and certified professionals should work with electrics and we would always recommend that you leave this to the professionals, however our curtain motors consist of a simple 240v 3 wire and 4 wire system, more information on this can be found on our guides page. Also for those who do not wish to involve the complexity of electrical wiring or do not have a localised power source available we do have a Lithium Ion battery operated motor that lasts for 6 months per 4 hour charge.

How do I use my curtains in case of a power cut?
All our DC curtain motors are equipped with the manual operation feature which allows the curtains to be operated in the event of a power failure just by pulling the curtain open or closed, this does not affect the operation of the product or your warranty.

How can I integrate your curtains into my home Automation System?
With our timer remotes it is possible to set an Open and Close time for each day of the week allowing your curtains to operate automatically. But if you wish to integrate into an existing system there are various ways in which it can be achieved. Our Remote Controlled motors work on the 433.92Mhz Range and can be operated using a LightwaveRF bridge. Lightwave is a widely used home automation communication protocol and provides a very robust system to operate on, alternatively if you have a Z-Wave system our Standard motor can be integrated into a Z-Wave Roller shutter Module (curtain module), one advantage of using Z-Wave is that it provides status reporting and allows for triggered events which greatly help increase functionality and automated security.

Do you supply curtain hooks?
We do not supply curtain hooks with our products, although most hooks will be fine for use with our products.

What weight curtains do your tracks support?
The supported weights for our tracks depend on a few factors, we are able to support up to 60kg of weight, but for more accurate information please see the supported weights table within our guides section.
